Claes Oldenburg inspired Sculptures

A small group of 5th graders from room 228 created larger than life sculptures of simple objects based on the famous sculpture artist Claes Oldenburg. 

Claes Oldenburg made gigantic public sculptures of seemingly ordinary objects.  It took him many year to plan, sketch, test, and finally produce these sculptures.  These 5th graders learned the same lessons as they planned, sketched and built their structures.
