Matisse Fish Bowl
5th graders studied Henri Matisse and his famous painting, The Goldfish, and how the impressionists and fauvists used color in their paintings. We then made our own version of the famous painting and experimented with using bright colors, mixing new colors, and painting like the impressionists did.
