5th Grade Clay Animal Effigy Pots

5th grade worked with clay for the first time!!!  Students learned how to make pinch pots and coil pots, then adding elements to them to make them into animal effigies.  We first practiced using modeling clay, before moving onto air-dry clay.  Once the clay was dry students got to paint them.
