Joan Miro Characters

1st grade learned about the artist Joan Miro and his crazy characters in his paintings.  We looked at lots of examples of his paintings and then watched this awesome video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDWPOkrJ0B8) that takes one of Joan Miro's paintings and animates it.  Students then drew their own version of a Joan Miro painting before painting it in with bright watercolors.
