Van Gogh Flowers

Kindergarten and 1st grade looked at the dozens of painting Vincent Van Gogh painted of sunflowers before learning how to draw their own version.  We talked about the different ways flowers can look (big, small, blooming, facing up or down, etc.) as well as how flower stems bend.  We also looked at how the table looks underneath the flower vase.  Students then created their own masterpieces!
