Dia de los Muertos "La Catrina" Prints

5th grade learned about the artist Jose Posada and created their own La Catrina drawings inspired by the holiday, Dia de los Muertos. Students transferred their drawings to a printing plate and etched their drawing into the styrofoam plate. Using brayers and ink, students created prints of their plate on colored paper.
