Lines and Shapes Repousse/Repujado

4th grade learned about the metal art process of "repousse" or "repujado" which literally means "pushed out."    We took a sheet of thick aluminum and pushed out a picture into the metal using lines and shapes.  Students glued that piece of metal to a larger sheet of paper and used construction paper crayons to continue their line and shape design from the metal onto the paper.
