Basket of Flowers Collage

Just in time for mother's day - students learned all about what a collage is (art by combining different forms of art) and made their own.

First they created a basket by weaving paper together.  Then they painted a paper a minimum of 8 different colors using only primary colors (red, yellow, blue) + white.  Once dry, student cut their painted paper into flower shapes.  They then glues these pieces onto a construction paper background, adding leaves and sequins.
