Monet Opposite Color Landscapes

5th Graders learned how color affects mood.  They studied Claud Monet's series paintings, including Haystacks and Waterloo Bridge, to learn how the color of a painting can change the entire look and feel of it. Students then drew a landscape of their choice in pencil and I made two photocopies of it. Students colored in each copy using opposite colors to see firsthand how color affects their artwork.
